Our Polysomnography Technology (PSGT) Program provides learners with the knowledge, technical skills, and abilities to become a Sleep Tech. The Polysomnography program at 91自拍 is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions as a polysomnographer, or sleep technologist. Sleep technologists use instrumentation to acquire overnight sleep study data. A sleep technologist is a skilled sleep disorders team member that assists a sleep specialist in providing a comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. The program and faculty facilitate learning opportunities that provide the student with exposure to the knowledge, skills, and technology necessary for a polysomnographer. The curriculum provides courses in succession and build on each other to provide progression in the development of sleep technology skills. Coursework specific to the Polysomnography program and the general core curriculum, as outlined by the college, comprises the formal education plan for the Associate of Applied Science, Polysomnography degree.
