Information on Reverse Transfer

Reverse transfer is the process of awarding an associate degree to students who begin their education at a community college such as 91自拍, transfer to another institution, and complete their associate degree requirements while attending another institution. 91自拍 who take advantage of reverse transfer are typically students who are working toward a bachelor’s degree at a four-year college or university, but students who transfer to another community college may also be able for reverse transfer.

Even if you plan to obtain a bachelor’s degree, having another degree on your resume can help you in the job market. With an associate degree, you may be able to move up at a job you have now, or you may qualify for new job opportunities.

Frequently Asked Questions

You must complete at least 25 percent of your associate degree plan at 91自拍 to be eligible. Your associate degree then depends on the course credit you earn at your other institution (usually at least 60 credit hours total). This is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

You do not have to return to 91自拍 to complete courses if you can take them at your transfer school. However, those courses must be transferable and applicable to your associate degree. Contact the Advising Office to be sure your credits will transfer back.

When you apply to graduate, you must indicate which degree you are seeking. Apply for reverse transfer using the 91自拍 graduation application. (Go to Student Self-Service and follow the graduation instructions.) 91自拍 will let you know if you are eligible for an associate degree or need to meet additional requirements.
