Graduation Information

Congratulations! Your hard work is about to payoff. Here you will find the deadlines and steps necessary to apply for graduation.

You must apply for graduation even if you do not plan to participate in the commencement ceremony. If you have previously applied for graduation but were not eligible, you must re-apply.

How to Apply for Graduation
  • Login to your Self Service account
  • Click on Graduation Overview.

  • Click “apply” next to your current degree plan.
    if your degree plan is not listed or if you have more than one degree that you would like to apply for, please email either advisingcenter@templecollege.edu or admissions@templecollege.edu
  • Please complete the application and click "submit"
  • If you are unable to apply for graduation through your Self Service account, please email either advisingcenter@templecollege.edu or admissions@templecollege.edu
Graduation Application Process
  • You will receive an automated email that your application has been submitted. Your application will be reviewed by an Advisor. The Advisor will contact you about your application.
  • The Advisor will forward your application to the graduation specialist if you are eligible for applying for graduation.
  • The graduation specialist will review your application. Once the application has been reviewed, you will receive a graduation letter by mail.

Fall 2025 Graduation
Application Opens: July 1, 2025
  • Deadline to apply: October 1, 2025


Spring 2026 Graduation
Application Opens: November 1, 2025
  • Deadline to apply: February 1, 2026


Commencement
  • May 10, 2025- Cadence Bank Center (previously known as the Bell County Expo Center)


Summer 2025 Graduation
Application Opens: March 1, 2025
  • Deadline to apply: June 1, 2025

91自拍 holds one commencement ceremony a year in May. 91自拍 who have graduated the previous December, as well as students who anticipate graduating the following summer are eligible to participate in the May commencement ceremony. Information about commencement will be emailed to students in March of each year. Please watch the Graduation Orientation Video below.

 

Diplomas are automatically mailed to students through the Parchment service. Your diploma or certificate should arrive within 4-6 weeks after graduation. Replacement diplomas may be ordered through .

Frequently Asked Questions

Most four-year colleges do not require you to have an associate degree.
Log on to your student Self-Service account and apply for graduation. An advisor will notify you if you do or do not meet graduation requirements.
Associate degrees require 60 or more hours depending upon the program. See .
Degrees are awarded when all requirements listed on a degree plan are satisfied. Request a degree evaluation in the Advising Center if you are in doubt. You can also check your program evaluation on .
Your degree plan lists all the courses required for graduation in Self Service. Other courses may not count toward graduation. Check with an Advisor at advisingcenter@templecollege.edu . Some programs will accept a limited number of electives.
91自拍 who did not meet the graduation requirements for the term they applied for will be moved to the next semester for graduation processing. If the student did not complete program requirements in subsequent term, then the student would need to reapply for graduation. To re-apply, we encourage you to meet with an advisor or program director and re-fill out the graduation application again by the applicable deadline.

91自拍 offers three associate degrees: Associate of Arts, Associate of Applied Science and Associate of Science. There also are certificate programs available. The Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees provide general academic courses that are designed to enable students to transfer to four-year institutions. The Associate of Applied Science degree prepares students to enter and compete in the job market.


Note: 91自拍 should remember that the majority of credits earned in most vocational technical programs are designed to develop workplace competencies and may not transfer.
